Thomas the Train

I volunteered to make a cake for my cousin's son Alex.  He requested a "baniwa" cake with blue frosting that was Thomas the Train.  So after much searching on the internet on how to make a Thomas cake, Amie and I got together and made a practice cake.  When we were done with the practice we had a much better idea of what to do for the real one.

It took about 5 hours after baking the cakes to stack and frost then cover in fondant and add all the details.  But I really loved how it turned out.

So now for the pictures.
