Oscar Flash Back

So 2 years ago I saw this post on Bakerella.  It immediately made me want to order the cookie cutter from CopperGifts and learn how to use royal icing.  So I shelled out the $15 on the cookie cutter and googled royal icing and went and bought everything else I would need to make some Oscar cookies.

At the time I thought these were pretty amazing.

When I look at them now all I can see is what I would do differently.  If someone could make more hours in the day, these would be made again this weekend in honor of the Oscars.  Instead I'll be elbow deep in "Baniwa" cake trying to figure out how to make a Thomas the Train cake.
