Thanksgiving Cookies

Can you believe Thanksgiving is 3 weeks away?  It's time to order your Thanksgiving Cookies.  Are you hosting dinner this year, and want a treat besides pie?  or do you need a little treat to take for a housewarming present?  Whatever you need we have it.  We are offering a few different options this Thanksgiving.  All orders need to be placed by November 22nd.

We have our Dozen Cookies for $30.  These will be boxed in a window box.  If you need them individually wrapped it will be an additional $5/dozen.  All cookies in the dozen are approximately 3" in size.  Each Dozen includes:  4 leaves, 2 turkeys, 2 acorns, 2 squirrels, and 2 pumpkins.

Besides our Dozen's this year we are offering something new.  First up is what I'm calling our Mr. Turkey Platter.  This would be great to take to dinner, or the office pot luck.  Each platter includes 36 cookies.  The cookies are about 2 bite cookies and once assembled looks like a turkey with all his feathers.  The platter is $45.

We also have a great little treat option.  How about some mini pumpkin pie cookies?  The bag includes 24 slices of pie for only $7.   This come wrapped in a cellophane bag tied with a ribbon.

Happy 1st Birthday Adia

A very special little girl is turning 1 next week.  Her party was this past weekend and we got to send some cookies her way to help her celebrate.  The party was halloween themed and it was fun to make some girly halloween cookies.

Had to do some owls since they were party of her nursery.

Pulled out the Kopy Kake to get some personalized cookies done.

Little photo shoot before they get packed up and shipped away.

I think she approves.

All ready for the party

Happy Birthday Adia, Wish I could have made the party.

A catch up post

So over here at 2 Amis Bake we have been a little busy the past few weeks.  Where each of these events pretty much deserve their own post, unfortunately they all have to share.

First up was helping one of our oldest friends ask his awesome girlfriend to be his wife.  These were so fun to make.  And luckily for Dustin, April said yes!  Congrats to the awesome couple.  Pretty sure some cookies will make an appearance at the wedding.

Next up was an order for Sock Monkey cookies.  It's something we had never done before but had wanted to try.  We used Sweet Sugar Belle's tutorial.

Next up was a cake and cake pops from one of our first and best repeat customer we have.  We always love doing cakes for her because she loves them so much.  The cake and cake pops were for her Granddaughters birthday.  I guess it's a good thing one of us has kids because I had no idea who Harry Hugglemonster was.  But apparently this looks like him.

Someone across the country was having a special birthday.  You don't turn 30 everyday.  And she was jumping out of a plane!!  So last minute I decided to use the Kopy Kake and get some skydivers on some of the cookies.  Fortunately the cookies survived shipping and Margo survived her sky jump.

It's also not every day that you turn 93.  But just this past week my Grandma celebrated her 93rd birthday.  Since she was having a lunch and a dinner get together, she requested 2 cakes.  I surprised her with some cookies.

We've gone and done it. . . . finally joined Etsy.

So we decided to join Etsy.  Figured it would be an easy way for our out of town fans to purchase cookies.  So go check us out and share with your friends.  We only have a few items for sale in our shop, but remember we are always up for a customer order (except for those times we are already booked)

So go take a look at our Etsy Shop!

Happy Birthday Chrissy and Back to School.

Someone very special had a birthday today.  It's hard to surprise someone that lives 2100 miles away, but I think it happened.  Earlier in the week some cookies were mailed to Chrissy's house to throw her off the cookie trail.

A few days later another package of cookies was sent to Chrissy's best friend to take to work.  And today in one of their meetings Chrissy got some more cookies.  Had to make some with her new age because she kept thinking she was only 28.

Other cookies that went out this week were some back to school cookies that my mom is taking to her coworkers.  My mom has taught school forever and this is her last year, she's going to retire at the end of this school year.  So a little something fun for her coworkers.
All the school essentials.  Apple for the teacher, Pencils, Paper, and Chalkboards ( although I don't think schools have real chalk boards anymore.)

They were packaged in bags and tied with ribbon.

Jeff's 40th Birthday

When my friend Nick contacted me about doing some cookies for Jeff's 40th Birthday I was so excited about his ideas I couldn't wait to do these cookies.  I became a little rushed when a new little baby was born the weekend I had planned to do the cookies, but I was able to get some new baby lovin' in and make the cookies.

Jeff is a lover of many things and we share a love of Diet Coke and Rum, specifically Sailor Jerry's.  So being able to make some Diet Coke cookies made my heart smile.

Another of Jeff's loves is Alfred Hitchcock.  I couldn't decide between the traditional silhouette or the silhouette he drew of himself, so a few of each went on the platter.

Jeff also loves his vinyl albums.  There always seems to be a record album out when you go to visit.

And we could not forget his love for his puppies.

And I don't really know if Jeff loves the fact his a diabetic, but we thought some shots needed to be at the party.
The cookies all ready for the party.
Jeff I hope that your next 40 are just as good or better than the first.  Happy Birthday!
